A spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETH Zurich), Vesifact represents a vital link between current research and private industry. Founded in 1987, the Vesifact Technology Transfer Unit was named after the primary research activities of company founder, Dr. Hans Georg Weder, Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Physical Pharmacy at the ETH Zurich. Marc Weder, a pharmacist and son of Dr. Weder, is also a co-founder of Vesifact and currently serves as the company’s CEO.
